On July 23, 2009, DivaGirl Inc. launched Divalicious – the official DivaGirl Fitness Launch Party at Cheval Bar. The night was a smashing success that dazzled 200 Divas and featured 45 fabulous Sponsors. The positive response was overwhelming so we’ve decided to make it an annual affair. The first week of August, come see some half-hour comedy pilots intended for television performed live at the Comedy Bar!

The Top 21 submissions have now been selected! See them performed live at the Comedy Bar during Pilot Week (August 2nd to August 8th, 2010). The Best Pilot of the Week as selected by Insight Productions will win $1,000 and be offered a development deal with Insight!

There will be live performances each night at the Comedy Bar during Pilot Week – 8pm, 9pm and 10pm. All shows are free!

Right To Play is an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver its programs in countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.

There is no fee to participate but a $10.00 donation is suggested. Donations made via this site of $20.00 or more will receive a tax receipt from Right To Play.

Already, the relationship between Quebeckers and the automobile was unique and intense in itself, promising a fantastic future for the Show. A constant increase in the number of visitors testified to its success, and organizers were prompted to surpass themselves and create more and more special attractions and unveilings.

From 1970 to 1989, the Show’s rapid growth rested on two vital elements: the manufacturers’ wish to present a greater selection of vehicles and the new manufacturers’ requests for their own place among us. Another move was in order…

In 1990, the MIAS entered into the third stage of its history by moving into Montréal’s Olympic Stadium. The prestigious location had all the characteristics required for the Show to develop its potential: a much larger exposition site and a luxurious interior that compares to the greatest hotels.

At the turn of the millennium, the MIAS settled in a more central location at the Palais des congrès de Montréal to capitalize on down-town location near the Old Port and right in the heart of the business area.

This year we are presenting 3 nights of pure entertainment, at Club Soda (1225 St Laurent, Montreal). The venue is offering seating for everyone, Cabaret formula (meaning we have tables too) where you can sip on Champagne & Cocktails while you enjoy the shows!

Thursday we will open the festivities with a fashion show (vintage and pin up inspired) followed by an all Canadian showcase. Every performer will be our own stars right here and from every corner of our vast beautiful country.

Friday night is our international showcase with artists from all over the world, no boundaries: Asia, Europe, America etc …

Saturday is the gala night, featuring headliners, faces that you know and some that you will discover.
