Andrew Lane
Director of Digital Engagement, Weber Shandwick Canada.
I was born in a small town called St. Thomas and moved to Toronto back in the 90s to attend Ryerson and to take over the world of television. Then television died and I jumped on the internet bandwagon and haven’t looked back.
A digital strategist and communications professional by day, and a relentless and random socialite by night, I’m always looking for the next cool thing, both in the digital world and the “real” world – whatever that is. I’ve been told that I possess the energy and at times the maturity of a small child. I think that’s a good thing as I’m always up for an opportunity to learn and explore something new. I hope to bring that very spirit to Notable.
Most likely to be seen:
At Toronto tech community events, out and about in the west end, playing a sport, hitting a patio (weather permitting) or anywhere from a concert or comedy night to a little hole in the wall restaurant to a Raptors or TFC game, and at Notable parties, of course. I’m all over the place!
What’s notable?
Something that changes the game – by this I mean something that gets people talking about the potential of what could come as a
result of it. This could be something that changes the world or just puts a smile on your face.
