Our second event with Samsung gave 200 very notable people the chance to experience 3-D TV technology one day before it was officially released to the public in Canada. We transformed the Andrew Richard Designs loft space into what looked like a launch party for DreamWorks Animation’s Monsters vs. Aliens, including everything from themed drinks to cupcakes. Even the servers and bartenders wore white hair to replicate main character Susan.
The movie was featured along with a series of short sports segments throughout the night on three “TV walls” and the feedback we received was incredible – nothing but rave reviews about this TV. Just imagine experiencing the World Cup this June in 3-D with Cristiano Ronaldo basically running around your living room…amazing.
Guests enjoyed beer from Toronto’s Steamwhistle brewery and an array of reds and whites from Wines of Germany paired with delicious hors d’oeuvres served throughout the night. Lounge house DJ sisters Sandra & Marsha of Kissette made sure people were moving until the very last minute. It’s safe to say that this party appealed to every sense and once again offered something a little bit different than what else is out there on a Thursday night.
And to top it off, Samsung is giving away a 3-D TV as part of a contest we’re running until April 8. If you were at the event and had your picture taken, simply find it in our Facebook album, tag it, and get as many people to “like” it as possible. The person with the most likes wins!
Thank you to everyone who came out to this amazing event – we look forward to seeing you next time.
