We checked out this year’s Interior Design Show – Canada’s largest contemporary design event – to find out about the newest and most innovative international and Canadian products. Both emerging and established designers set up exhibits to highlight everything from international interior design to architecture and industrial design trends. Whether conservative or avant-garde, there was something there for everyone.
In part 1 of our IDS 10 coverage, NotableTV Arts & Culture expert Marcelo Cabezas takes us on a tour of the show and speaks to a few of the keynote speakers headlining the event. Marketing Director of Audi Canada Karsten Ruwoldt introduces us to Audi’s 2010 A5 convertible – their latest addition and the perfect vehicle for the upcoming spring season.
We also catch up with Jason McIsaac of Toronto-based Ministry of the Interior, which specializes in original, cutting-edge design. Jason introduces us to “Rolling Hills,” an innovative concept space he designed that blurs the line between architecture and landscape.
Stay tuned for the second part of our Interior Design Show coverage.
