Toronto has worked incredibly hard since the disastrous earthquake in Haiti to support aid and relief efforts going to the devastated Caribbean nation. On February 6, Bob Marley Day, all of our support came together at Kool Haus for Toronto’s official Haiti fundraiser and concert.
Fully supported by the consulates of Haiti and Jamaica and the City of Toronto, One Love for Haiti united the city and prominent members of the Caribbean community to raise money for relief efforts by UNICEF and Perspective Entraide Humanitaire.
Rita Marley flew in on her late husband’s 65th birthday to headline the event with a stunning performance that included Bob’s reggae hit “One Love.” Toronto’s Jully Black also performed on the night, as did Dylan Murray, Rebel Emergency, Baby Boyz and a handful of other artists.
We would like to thank everyone who came out to support this amazing initiative and create such a unique atmosphere of generosity and compassion. To find out where you can continue donating to Haiti earthquake relief efforts, click here.

Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Most importantly, thanks for helping UNICEF help Haitian children and families!
