Advertising Week 2009 – Youth Day

Toronto Ad Week 2009 wouldn’t have been the same if were not for the Youth Day portion of the conference.  Some of the top advertising and communications firms in Toronto came together to welcome about-to-graduate university students the chance to apprentice in a real ad-firm for the day.  From there, Toronto Ad Week organizers placed students in to teams and asked to work together in creating a project for Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Re*Generation campaign.  The top team was Due North, followed in a close-2nd place to Ogilvy.  In this video we catch up with both the 1st place team and 2nd place team to see how the competition went and, even more, what went wrong…
