Day 2 of LG Fashion Week brought us a superstar line up of designers. NotableTV caught our Fashion Week Affair partner, Jason Meyers, who showed party-ready, bright, little short suits. Fingers covered in candy coloured demi-gloves like hands dipped in carnival wax.
The most anticipated and attended double show of the evening was David Dixon and Barbie by David Dixon. Looks ranged from the glamourous David Dixon line with breezy one shoulder caftans, origami floral folds and feather-like metal paillettes to girly Barbie in rich, dark magenta coats and cocktail dresses, big black buttons and even pink soles on models’ feet.
NotableTV interviewed David Dixon backstage as Ryerson School of Fashion’s most notable graduate. He said he learned a lot during his years there and always tries to give back to the fashion student community.
For the show with the most fun, Bustle clothing pulled out poolside barbeque props, supermodel Stacey McKenzie serving caesars to the front row and celebrity anchor Rick Mercer in their preppy, shimmery jackets and teal printed bikinis.
