Notable TV caught up with Dylan Murray at Clinton’s for an intimate concert amongst his dedicated fans and new ones – his music is contagious, I’m sure that those new ones are now dedicated.
When Dylan was in his teenage years, he went down to Jamaica one summer to help under privileged children learn English, since then he never was quite the same. Jamaica opened up Dylan’s eyes to a whole new world of writing and singing music that touched, moved, and inspired. Dylan’s music started out with a heavily influence reggae vibe and then slightly shifted into a pop-folk sound, today he infuses the two sounds together beautifully, it only takes 1 track to hear his passion and become a believer.
Dylan has been writing, singing, and producing for over a decade now in Jamaica, New York, and Toronto. He has played live in Jamaica countless times and has created an extremely respected name for himself amongst the people. In Canada Dylan has performed all over and has been featured on MuchVibes and CBC, but in fact, it’s much bigger, his music has seen interest by artists and celebrities such as Wyclef, Sean Paul, Donovan Bailey and more. Just recently he was invited back to Jamaica to record in Bob Marley’s studio!
