We were on hand to cover this year’s annual Friends for Life Foundation gala and were absolutely blown away by the incredible story behind it. It’s an amazing example of how to turn something negative into something positive, especially when the latter seems near impossible.

In it’s fourth year, this annual event took place at the Atlantic pavilion on the city’s waterfront – definitely one of the most spectacular venues in Toronto. The money raised went directly to the Hospital for Sick Children’s Oncology unit and The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
