NotableTV headed to the Suites at 1 King West for one of the the hottest tickets in the city on a Saturday night. ROUGE by United Way was so full of hype that tickets sold out a week in advance and started showing up on craigslist for more than face value (some say this is because Julian Brass of NotableTV decided to have his birthday celebrations at ROUGE). Let us be your trusted source to tell you that ROUGE 2009 definitely lived up to expectations.
Rouge is an annual event organized by the United Way’s GenNext, a philanthropic group of young professionals looking to make a difference in their city. This unforgettable night of dancing, live performances, cocktails and prizes saw all proceeds go to United Way Toronto, which supports a network of 200 agencies across the city.
About GenNext
GenNext’s mandate is to encourage Torontonians in their 20s and 30s to become involved with United Way Toronto through giving and volunteering. The group is committed to raising awareness and supporting the work of United Way and its partners by developing and participating in volunteer and fundraising events.
Led by a Cabinet of volunteers, GenNext creates fun opportunities for individuals to support United Way Toronto and its partner agencies. The GenNext Cabinet organizes fundraising events, promotes volunteer activities, encourages people to contribute to our city, and provides a forum for people to connect and get involved.
